New Here?

How have you prepared the church for COVID-19?

Due to COVID-19 and government restrictions, we are asking attendees to wear face coverings. Hand sanitizer is ready for use when you walk in the door. In the sanctuary, every other pew is closed off to ensure social distancing.  We do encourage families to sit together in the same pew.

What happens on a Sunday morning?

We offer Sunday School classes for adults, youth, and children at 9:30am.  Please note that some classes are on hold due to COVID-19.

Our worship service begins at 10:30am.

What should I expect during a typical worship service?

Our worship service is a blend of traditional and contemporary music. The sermons are often focused on a particular passage of Scripture as we seek to know how the Bible speaks to our lives today. We do not take a weekly offering throughout the service; the offering box is located in the foyer. If you are a guest, please do not feel obligated to give.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! Some people wear t-shirts and jeans, while others feel more comfortable in dress clothes.

What do you offer for children during worship?

At East Goshen, we believe strongly in the congregation as a family of faith. Due to COVID-19, we ask children to stay with their parents for the duration of the service. The nursery and upstairs classrooms are open for any children that would like to play with their families during the service.  A livestream is there to accomodate families.  If your children are older (elementary-ish age) and you wish to stay in service, a "busy bag" will be given to your child.  The "busy bag" will include coloring and writing materials, a sermon note page, and other activities.

How can I get involved?

If you feel that East Goshen is a place you can call your church home, come talk to Pastor Josh or one of the elders. They would be happy to get you plugged in to the community.  Right now, we are specifically looking for volunteers for the nursery, elementary aged students, youth, and tech department.
