Missionary Reading List Books:

The Widow Wore Pink by Robyn Dykstra

Robyn Dykstra spent years as a Playboy Bunny, oblivious to God’s master plan for her life. This is also available as an audiobook.

Same Kind of Different As Me by Ron Hall & Denver Moore

A dangerous, homeless drifter who grew up picking cotton in virtual slavery. An upscale art dealer accustomed to the world of Armani and Chanel. A gusty woman with a stubborn dream.

This book was made into a movie which is in the church library. We also have another book called “What Difference Do It Make?” by these same authors.

Embracing the Broken by Tiffany Webster

Be ye therefore perfect. This thought became the obsession of Tiffany Webster’s life. It was only when she lost everything she had worked endlessly for that she realized she had been living the “Perfect Lie.”

The Case For Miracles by Lee Strobel

Is it reasonable in our skeptical culture to believe in a God who produces miracles? Don’t miracles contradict science?

You Are Free by Rebekah Lyons

Christ doesn’t say you can be or may be or will be free. He says you are free.

Choosing to See by Mary Beth Chapman

From the beginning, Mary Beth Chapman’s life was not how she planned. All she wanted was a calm peaceful life of stability and control. Instead, God gave her an award-winning singer/songwriter husband, crazy schedules, and a houseful of creatively rambunctious children.
